This has become my favorite. When I went to the hardware store to buy the brass for the body top the guy at the store asked why I would want brass on it. He commented "I would think that would sound bad." My response was "Well, it sounds pretty good on a trumpet."

 

This is the main guitar I use on stage so if you click the far right thumbnail above, you can see a more recent photo of what it looks like when I used it for a while. I think the tarnish looks pretty cool. How the guitar changes visually over time is something to consider when selecting materials.
